Well, Kassie had surgery to have her gall bladder out Fri. All went well. She looks like she is healing nicely but she is going to wait one more day for school. We went over to her sisters real quick, and... the bump we hit really made it hurt again! Poor thing. Wed. for sure!
And Thurs. the Dr. told me I had pneumonia so I was trying to stay away from her while at the same time be there for her. Not fun. He said he could hear guck way down in my chest. Did a breathing treatment, a shot of antibiotics and strong oral, then sent me for chest x-rays. Well today they say it is not pneumonia. Must be bronchitis. in the meantime the anti biotics are dropping my sugar level Grr

Ok, first, my stained glass window square... tis a little different the books picture. But if I can duplicate what I did here I can live with that cause I still think it is pretty!! And so does my daughter Amber who will be getting the afghan when it is done. Second pic is of my #2 square for the Learn to knit afghan. Isn't that soo cool, I am knitting!

And finally (actually was suppose to be first) the FINISHED flag afghan by itself! Woo Hoo!!

Here is an update of my flag afghan. I HAVE been working on it... Honest! All I have is about a dozen stars in the lower right corner. It is so time consuming and bulky to work with/around to attach stars, but I did 4 so a little later I will work on my knit square.

KAL~~Beach Blanket

Okk, was gonna do Tan(beachsand), Dark Blue(lake) Light Blue (Sky) and White(Clouds)

Now I am thinking of doing Green to match the tree color instead of white. Any opinions??

This is for the Knit-A-Long blanket I will be making.

I am soo frustrated, my book still is not here!! Oh well, I will sew more stars or more likely, I will work on the SGW afghan, almost done with the first square.

My crochet

I believe this will link to my crochet album, we will see. This is everything I have crocheted. I learned as a teenager, then went many years without doing anything. The last few years I have been crocheting pretty regular. I am sure I missed somthing but...... Anywho, this doesn't count squared I have done for various reasons nor UFO's (unfinished objects). Like my flag ghan, butterfly afghan and the stained glass afghan I have just started! Oh, and I made a really cute purse but gave it away before I remembered to get a photo. Oops

Apparently it could take till the 15th of Feb to get my book! It says that it shipped out three days ago via UPS though. Last time I ordered somthing through Amazon I got a routing number so I could see where my package was, not this time though so I am still waiting!

Here are photos of my flag afghan and the stars I have to sew on. Well actually I have 30 sewn on so far!! 20 to go and I will be done. Picture in the lower left corner of the blue part is the magazine I have been working from with their picture of finished project. 1 1/2 years, and I will be done within a week Woo Hoo!!!
